Special Citations and Heritage Awards are not presented annually; they are awarded only in years when OTC believes that an activity, event, or contribution merits recognition.
2023 Special Citation to Cezar Augusto Silva Paulo for his pioneering efforts in the development of standardization of mechanical interfaces for deepwater subsea trees, that left an important legacy to the industry.
