RICHARDSON, Texas, U.S.A. (26 April 2004)-—Bengt Lie Hansen,
Senior Vice President, Oil & Energy, Norsk Hydro ASA, offers
the keynote presentation at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC)
session titled, The Ormen Lange Project, 2 to 4:30 p.m. (1400 to
1630), Wednesday, 5 May.
"The Ormen Lange and Langeled projects are of great significance
to both the Norwegian and worldwide oil and gas environments. They
are projects that require pushing technology boundaries and offer
new challenges that will bring the worldwide oil and gas industry
a giant step forward. Because of their unique financial strengths,
the projects will allow leading global oil and gas environments
to resolve special technical obstacles," said Hansen.
The keynote presentation, "Ormen Lange-—The Most Challenging
Deepwater Gas Development in the World," headlines the session
chaired by Per A. Kjarnes and Herbert Schmachtenberg, also from
Norsk Hydro.
