RICHARDSON, Texas, U.S.A. (20 December 2002)—For
the first time in its 35-year history, the Offshore Technology Conference
(OTC) is extending exhibition hours on Monday, 5 May 2003, from
1700 hours (5 p.m.) to 1900 hours (7 p.m.). The show takes place
at the Reliant Center at Reliant Park in Houston.
"Expanding exhibition hours benefits both
exhibitors and attendees,” said Charlie Richards, OTC .03
Chairman. “This expanded format provides exhibitors additional
time to discuss business opportunities with the more than 45,000
international participants that OTC delivers.”
OTC is recognized in the industry for having
one of the largest and most globally representative exhibitions
in the E&P industry. Therefore, this expanded schedule benefits
attendees by giving them additional time to meet with the 2,000-plus
exhibiting companies and learn about their products and services.
The extended Monday hours also offer a convenient time for Houston-area
oil and gas professionals to visit the OTC exhibitors,” said
Richards.
On Monday the technical sessions adjourn at
1630 hours (4:30 p.m.); however, registration and the exhibition,
including indoor and outdoor exhibits, are scheduled for an additional
two and one half hours.
A complete list of exhibitors and a schedule
for OTC .03 is available at www.OTCnet.org.
