RICHARDSON, Texas, U.S.A. (11 April 2003)—The
2003 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) exhibition is growing
6% this year. The indoor and outdoor exhibits total 383,350 net
square feet (NSF).
OTC continues to be recognized as having one
of the largest and most globally representative exhibitions in the
E&P industry. There are 1,999 exhibiting companies representing
more than 27 countries this year.
“Last year’s exhibit broke records
as far as global participation with more than 110 countries represented
by attendees and 27 represented by exhibitors,” said Mark
Rubin, OTC Executive Manager. “Also, Denmark will have a country
Pavilion for the first time this year—giving OTC a total of
13 country Pavilions.”

“Outdoor exhibits will see more traffic
this year,” said Rubin. “The shuttle buses are dropping
off OTC attendees in front of the outdoor exhibits where a path
will lead them through the booths and to the front doors of Reliant
Center.”
OTC also has scheduled the exhibition to be open an additional one
and one-half hours on Monday, 5 May. This allows attendees to visit
the exhibition after technical sessions have concluded and enables
Houston-area E&P professionals to visit after working hours.
