Business Center

Reliant Park provides business services in Reliant Center, level 1, room 109. It offers color and B&W copies, scanning, faxing, business card set up and printing, and UPS shipping. It will be open Monday through Thursday on-site from 1000–1500 hours.

Reliant Arena Activities Enjoy free coffee with the Arena exhibitors from 0900-1000 hours each morning. A food court is available inside the Arena near Hall A. Enjoy happy hour with the Arena exhibitors from 1500-1600 hours, Monday-Wednesday.

OTC Parkway Activities Enjoy free coffee with the exhibitors from 0900-1000 hours each morning. Eat at the outside food courts—near the Arena, in the middle of the Parkway, and near the Center. Enjoy happy hour with the outdoor exhibitors from 1500-1600 hours, Monday-Wednesday.

Exhibit Locators

The Exhibitor Locator touch screens offer a hands-on, visual experience to navigate the exhibit floor plans. With this environmentally-green technology, you can search for exhibitors by name, booth, or product category, and find technical session details and locations. Look for them near the Reliant Center and Reliant Arena exhibit entrances.

First Aid

First Aid is located in the Medical Center in Reliant Center Lobby C, level 1, and in Reliant Arena Hall B.

Internet Access

Email Stations are located in Reliant Center, level 2, across from room 306.

OTC is offering free wireless internet access in the lobbies of Reliant Center, levels 1 and 2, as well as the lobby of Reliant Arena. The SSID for the wireless access is OTC2012. This free wireless access will not be available on the exhibit floors, because it will interfere with the higher band wireless services that are being offered to exhibitors for promoting their products and services.

Center for International Trade

Reliant Arena, Level 2, Room 4

OTC 2012 is a participant of the US Department of Commerce’s International Buyer Program (IBP). Through their network of offices in US Embassies and Consulates worldwide, the IBP has recruited nearly 30 foreign buyer delegations to connect with US companies at OTC.

International trade specialists will be in the Center for International Trade to provide services such as export counseling, matchmaking services, and market analysis. Stop by the room to learn about the many buyer delegations and pick up a free copy of the Export Resource Guide containing the Basic Guide to Exporting, Trade Finance Guide, Oil and Gas sector market research reports, and more.

International Lounge

Reliant Center, Level 2, Room 700

The International Lounge offers international visitors a place to meet and relax during OTC. Multilingual members of the National Oil Equipment Manufacturers and Delegates Society (NOMADS) and the members of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Gulf Coast Section Auxiliary are available to provide assistance with information regarding Houston-area shopping, restaurants, museums, theatres, and emergency medical appointments.

OTC Gift Shop

Visit the OTC Gift Shop in Reliant Center Lobby B, level 1, to browse and purchase a variety of apparel items, including denim shirts, golf shirts, caps, and T-shirts. Many sizes and colors are available. Stop by early to get the best selection. The OTC Gift Shop is open each day during registration hours.

Members of the working press will register or pick-up their badge in the press registration room on level 1. The press room on level 2 offers a quiet work space with complimentary internet access.

Proceedings

OTC 2012 technical papers are available on CD to use as a valuable reference tool after the conference. Proceedings are available for purchase on-site in the Reliant Center Lobby D on level 1 and in the Reliant Arena registration area. Cost is USD 110 for members and USD 175 for nonmembers.

Session Recordings

OTC On Demand is an online portal to education content from OTC events. The OTC 2012 presentations will be available for viewing online at www.otcondemand.org as digitally recorded audio synchronized to PowerPoint presentations. The audio can also be downloaded as MP3 files. On Demand is available to all paid, registered OTC 2012 attendees after the conference. Attendees will receive an email from OTC once available.

Speaker Check-In Room

Reliant Center, Level 2, Room 500

All presenting authors and session chairmen should report to the Speaker Check-In Room prior to their presentation. Audiovisual equipment is available for speakers to preview their presentations.

Publications

OTC publication cubicles are located in Reliant Center Lobby B on level 1. Attendees are encouraged to pick up complimentary issues of the participating publications.

Restaurants

Reliant Park offers many great meals, snack, and drink options in Reliant Center, the OTC Parkway outdoor exhibits, and Reliant Arena. Once you arrive at OTC, look in the on-site program for more details on the types of food available in each area.
