0800	Welcome and Introduction to Program Meet fellow participants and learn about the program. Review goals and objectives for the workshop and begin planning ways to use NEED materials and energy training in your school. Welcome Addresses Don Vardeman, OTC Conference Chairman Kim Bates, Vice President, Americas, ExxonMobil Exploration Company, the workshop sponsor.
0815	Keynote Address—Energy Directions for the Next 20 Years and Beyond George Richardson, former Society of Mining and Exploration Program Committee Chairman for the Offshore Technology Conference, will discuss renewable and non-renewable energy options. Teachers will have the opportunity to ask questions.

1215	Grade-level Breakout Sessions Sessions are offered for elementary, middle, and high school groups, providing an opportunity to learn how to make the science of energy fun and interesting for all ages. Get hands-on activities and tips from The NEED Project instructors on incorporating energy into the classroom.
1430	Closing program Complete evaluations and receive professional development certificates for participation.
