Peter Noble, Chief Naval Architect, ConocoPhillips
Peter G. Noble is chief naval architect at ConocoPhillips, headquartered in Houston, Texas.
He has worked in the technology development, design, construction, and classification in the marine and offshore industries in Canada, Europe and the US. His career has included positions with ship design consultants, research and development companies and classification societies. At ConocoPhillips he has led projects such as the QatarGas 3 LNG Marine Transportation System development and is currently engaged in supporting several Arctic frontier developments.
Noble holds patents related to LNG containment systems, is a member of the American Bureau of Shipping and serves on a number of industry technical committees and academic advisory boards.
Noble received a degree in Naval Architecture from the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
