Tony D. Vaughn, Vice President and General Manager Gulf Coast Division, Devon Energy
Tony Vaughn was appointed vice president and general manager of Devon Energy’s Gulf Division in 2005. Vaughn joined Devon in 1997, serving in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility. Prior to his association with Devon, Vaughn spent 12 years with Kerr-McGee, last serving as manager of the Rocky Mountain district. Before joining Kerr-McGee, Vaughn worked as an operations engineer for Amoco Production.
Vaughn is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the board of directors for the Offshore Energy Center and the Resource Partnership to Secure Energy for America, and is vice chairman of the Offshore Issues Task Group for the Domestic Petroleum Council. He also serves on the advisory board for the University of Tulsa Department of Petroleum.
Vaughn holds a BS degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa and a BS degree in business management from Oral Roberts University.
