Dave Kopperson, Vice President Offshore East Coast Canada, EnCana
Dave Kopperson was appointed vice president, offshore east coast Canada, at EnCana in 2005.
Prior to his current assignment, Kopperson was vice president, business services, for EnCana’s Canadian operations. His responsibilities included land, supply management, seismic, environmental health and safety, facilities integrity, and regulatory compliance. In this capacity, Kopperson was a member of the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board/Industry Oil and Gas Liaison Committee and the US Department of Energy Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Committee for coalbed methane development.
Kopperson began his energy career in 1979 at PanCanadian Petroleum, holding a variety of technical and management positions. He received a BS degree in chemistry from the University of Waterloo in 1977.
