Chris Haver, DeepStar Director and Vice President Ultradeepwater Technology Program, Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America (RPSEA)
In his current position as DeepStar Director, Chris Haver is responsible for leading the DeepStar Project and managing the Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America (RPSEA) Ultradeepwater Technology Program.
Haver has 17 years of experience with Unocal and Chevron, focusing on the early conceptual phases of major capital projects since the Unocal and Chevron merger. He has held the positions of research engineer, operations engineer, and facilities engineer. His experience includes facilities design and operation in the Gulf of Mexico, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Haver received a degree in metallurgical and materials engineering from California State Polytechnic University and is currently pursuing an MBA degree at Rice University.
