The Honey Comb Base™ Tank System
The Honey Comb Base™ bulk cutting storage tank can significantly improve safety and efficiency by eliminating the need for cutting boxes, the associated cranes lifts and safety risks of handling cutting boxes, and freeing up valuable deck space. The HCB tank system – especially when coupled with the SupaVac™ SV400 long-distance pumping system – can provide a reliable, simplified transfer and storage option that can be easily installed and does not require proximity to the solids control equipment (i.e., shakers) in order to function efficiently. The air-operated SupaVac transfer system can vacuum drill cuttings up to 165 ft (50 m) and pump up to 20 tons per hour of drill cuttings 490-650 ft (150-200 m). The HCB tank discharge cuttings over long distances, both horizontally and vertically, at of 48 and 30 tons per hour respectively.
