On-Site Press Registration Available

• Pre-registration for press ended 18 April. Working press may receive complimentary registration on-site. On-site registration begins Sunday, 29 April, in the OTC Press Room located in Room 108D, Level 1, Reliant Center.
• Your credentials and photo identification are required for verification. You can fill out this Printable Registration Form (PDF) and bring it to the OTC Press Room to save time.

Badge Pickup for International Pre-Registered Press

• All international registrants who registered before 18 April will be able to pick up their conference badge at the press room or at the George Bush International Airport upon arrival into Houston.
  OTC registration kiosks at the airport are located across from Starbucks after you have passed through customs and before you leave the airport.
• Please pick up your press ribbon in the press room, even if you get your badge in advance or print your badge at a “Badge and Go” station at Reliant Center.
  

Badges for Pre-Registered Press–US

• If you pre-registered before the 18 April deadline, you should receive a confirmation by email before OTC. If you live in the United States and registered before 30 March, you should receive your badge in the mail.
• Please pick up your press ribbon in the press room, even if you get your badge in advance or print your badge at a “Badge and Go” station at Reliant Center.

Parking, Transportation

• We do not provide special parking areas for media vehicles, but you may purchase a parking pass using this form.

Working at OTC

The press room, located in 108 D1 has been reconfigured this year to provide more work areas and high-speed connections. Press room amenities:

• High-speed internet connections. Wireless connection is not available in the press room, although free wireless is available on Level 2 of Reliant Center near Room 302.
• Telephones (international calls not available)
• Fax (international fax available)
• Copier (50 copies maximum)
• Refreshments, sponsored by Schlumberger
• NEW: Flat screen TV with CNN broadcasts

• Monday, 30 April, 7 am–5:30 pm
• Tuesday, 1 May, 7 am–5:30 pm
• Wednesday, 2 May, 7 am–5:30 pm
• Thursday, 3 May, 7 am–2 pm

Press Access to Industry Breakfasts, Topical Luncheons, Awards Luncheon

• For special ticketed events, OTC offers a limited number of tickets for press that include the meal. Only one press representative per media outlet can receive a ticket. Please check in the press room before each event.
• Press can cover the speakers at any ticketed event without eating a meal. We attempt to provide chairs for the press, but some events may be sold out and offer standing room only on a first-come, first-served basis for press.

Proceedings CD

• Each registered press person will receive a complimentary copy of the OTC .07 Proceedings.
• Pick up your copy in the press room.

Photography, Audio Recording and Videotaping Guidelines

• Photographers, radio reporters and video crews must register as press and must sign in at the press room each day.
• Audio/Video Recording: No recording is allowed without OTC's permission.
• Video crews must be accompanied by an OTC press representative. Scheduling in advance will ensure you get the access you need. Please make advance arrangements by contacting Margaret Watson, mwatson@otcnet.org or +1.972.952.9304. On-site, please contact a press representative in the press room for assistance.
• Still photographers may shoot the exhibition floor without an OTC press representative, but must ask permission of exhibitors before shooting in any exhibition booth.
• Still photographers must request permission of the technical session moderator before shooting any photos in a technical or panel session. No audio recording or videotaping is permitted in technical or panel sessions.
• No photographers are permitted in the OTC Awards Luncheon. OTC can provide professional quality, high res photos of the Awards Luncheon upon request.

New Technology and Event Summary

This year we will provide the press a summary that contains information about newsworthy technologies and events from the OTC exhibitors, complete with booth number and on-site contact information.
